On 23rd February 2016, Shri. ANANT G. GEETE (Hon'ble Minister, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Govt. of India) inaugurated various Test Facilities of ICAT, Manesar (Site - I) in the august presence of Sh. R.K. Singh (Jt. Secy), DHI & Sh. Sanjay Bandopadhayay, CEO & PD NATRiP

An MOU signed on 4th March, 2016 between NATIS(ICAT) and SGS for setting up of Inspection and Certification (I&C) centres on Build, Own, Operate(BOO)/ Private Public Partnership(PPP) basis in India.”

Tyre testing facility accreditated by NABL and approved by BIS. Now we are capable of conducting testing of tyres ranging from 2W to HCV. For more information, please write to amit.karwal@icat.in

CAD/CAE lab is the major step for making ICAT capable in the field of product development which mainly involves usage of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering Design (CAE). For more information, please write to prashant.vijay@icat.in

Installed Fire Resistance Test Facility for Plastic Fuel Tanks as per IS:15547 & ECE R34. The Customers will get the complete Certification & Homologation services of plastic fuel tanks including fire resistance testing. This test facility is capable to undertake development as well as certification tests of plastic fuel tanks intended for Passenger Cars & HCVs.

With the development of CRS Manikin/Fixture as per Annexure 23 of AIS:72, ICAT has started testing of CRS (installation of Universal Category). The OEMs are using this new test facility for obtaining compliance to AIS:072 which would be mandatory from 1st Apr-2015
